The job of a Team Leader in Mykolaiv or Dnipro, Ukraine, involves overseeing and coordinating projects aimed at helping vulnerable children and communities. The main goal is to ensure that resources like cash and supplies are properly distributed and accounted for, following the guidelines of World Vision and its donors. The Team Leader will work closely with a variety of people, including other staff and local authorities, to make sure the project runs smoothly. Additionally, they will support and train staff to enhance their abilities to carry out these tasks effectively.
What needs to be done
Coordinate and manage all project activities for the distribution of cash and relief items, ensuring timely and effective implementation;
Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of approved program activities in collaboration with the Project Coordinator and monitoring of allocated funds;
Ensure that all standards of humanitarian accountability are met and resources allocated to target groups are properly utilized;
Visit target communities regularly to gather feedback and perceptions to assist in the planning and implementation of appropriate community oriented programs;
Prepare monthly management reports and reports for the region that conform to established standards and formats;
Train employees and target communities by identifying and implementing the right training programs;
Maintain relationships and coordinate with other organizations, local authorities and government agencies to ensure proper project targeting and resource allocation.
Requirements
Full-time position with location in Mykolaiv or Dnipro (primary place of work - office, with occasional travel within Ukraine as needed);
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in social sciences, development, business administration or similar field, as well as experience in related projects and communication skills in English and Ukrainian.
