Team leader for humanitarian projects
We are looking for a Team Leader to join our team in either Mykolaiv or Dnipro, Ukraine, to help support vulnerable children and communities. The main goal of this role is to oversee and coordinate various projects, ensuring that resources are used effectively and the needs of the communities are met. You will work closely with local authorities and other organizations, organize training, and manage a team to make a positive impact on the children's lives. Your strong communication skills and experience in managing projects will be key to successfully achieving these goals.
Supervise service contractors to ensure efficient management and coordination of all cash and non-food item distribution activities;
Assist project coordinators and cash monitors in planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating program activities;
Ensure compliance with humanitarian accountability standards and proper handling of resources for target populations;
Visit target communities regularly to gather feedback and improve community-oriented programs;
Prepare and submit monthly management and narrative reports according to established standards;
Supervise and allocate resources effectively, managing cash monitors and service contractors;
Collaborate and coordinate with other agencies, local authorities, and World Vision programs to ensure proper resource allocation and support for the target population.
The position requires regular travel within the Ukraine region;
The candidate should have a bachelor's degree in social work, development studies or business administration;
Experience in food security and sustainable development is essential;
Communication skills in Ukrainian and English are encouraged.
