Ukraine
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the foundation has been actively helping animals from the war zone: evacuating them, providing food and medicine for shelters.
The team has begun to rebuild facilities for animals affected by Russian aggression. An all-Ukrainian program of free sterilization of stray animals was launched, which is already operating in Kharkiv, Chernivtsi, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Poltava, Chernihiv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy and other cities.
Since its inception, UAnimals has managed to initiate the largest march for animal rights in Eastern Europe, which takes place simultaneously in 30 cities every year and gathers tens of thousands of concerned Ukrainians.
A few years ago, UAnimals began to cooperate with Ukrainian clothing brands and introduced the Cruelty-free fashion nomination in the main Ukrainian fashion award Best Fashion Awards to recognize the most ethical designers.
